Incredible decision to purchase for the high school

Incredible decision to purchase for the high school. Boys like the way the ball reacts to their bat giving a true feeling of real baseballs. They just protect your hands better especially in colder weather. Great product.

Inconsistent ball flight

Inconsistent ball flight. Example, we might want to train hitting a high outside fastball. The pitch might be a high fast ball one time and unrealistic breaking ball the next pitch. It just depends if it catches the molded seem when pass through the pitching machine. An actual baseball used with my Jugs machine is more accurate than the Proline ball. I was expecting these to have more consistent ball flight. However, they do vibrate your hands less when hitting of the machine which is good.

Jason, we sent you and email but wanted to follow up here as well to help other customers that may run into ths same issue you have. For starters, when using machine pitching training foam balls the max distance from home plate to machine should be no more than 45ft which is also noted on our webiste under the product description, but can be overlooked. Foam is ligher therefore you cannot set the machine up at the standard 60ft distance. Once the distance is set up correctly you will not run into the issue you're currently experiencing. Last, the seam ball which is the ball you purchased will have movement by design due to the embossed seams in the ball. The seams are made into the mold therefore they do not stick out and cannot snag on anything which is why they were designed that way. The movement in the ball flight mimics a real baseball. If you're looking for a ball that is extremly accurate, please look at our no seam ball (happy to help you exchange them if you'd like). However, please note that the no seam ball weight is the same as our seam ball so the max distance from plate to pitching machine will still need to be no more than 45ft. Thank you,

We have a 70’ outdoor cage here in the San Diego area… my two son’s (9U & 11U players) hit this past weekend and these balls performed great! In fact, they were actually more accurate into our pitcher’s pocket target than our ‘‘machine only’ baseballs. Using a HA Jr from roughly 50’ with a 55 MPH setting, these balls flew true and were fun to hit. They were actually about 2-3 MPH faster (avg’d 57 MPH) at this same distance when compared to our traditional pitching machine-only baseballs. Thank you!
